It is packaged in a white box with a transparent window and comes with a black Pilot proprietary ink cartridge.

Use originalPilot cartridges or the Pilot CON-40 converter (sold separately) to fill the pen with bottled ink. The pen also comes in a presentation box with a black cartridge.
