Chiyogami is a type of traditional, brightly colored printed paper first developed during the Edo period. Inspired by Japanese patterns, particularly the patterns of high-end Kimono, Japanese printers and silkscreeners created the paper to be used to cover boxes, books, dolls, and other things around the home.

This set of 24 sheets of Chiyogami paper is ideal for making origami, scrapbooking, or decorating. The vivid and vibrant coloring and unique patterns really pop. Each sheet is unique, as the set contains six different patterns, with four different color variations per pattern.

The Retro Modern set of paper includes traditional Japanese koi fish, Mt. Fuji, retro and modern floral designs, and more.

Produced by Kamiiso, a paper manufacturer with a storied history dating back to the early years of the Taisho era, this paper is of the highest quality, and the skill and dedication of the craftsmen is reflected in the quality of the patterns and vibrance of the colors.
